For foreign students who wish to further their education at Nishi-Nippon Junior College, the objective of the Japanese Language Course is to provide education in the Japanese language and knowledge about Japan required for university, and to foster human resources with an international perspective who will contribute to international cultural exchange.
Currently, there are 150 foreign students at Nishi-Nippon Junior College from Vietnam, China, Poland, Nepal, Uganda and Bangladesh studying academic subjects and Japanese language. To further enhance not just daily study but also student life, a number of international exchange events are held to promote interaction with Japanese people.
Nishi-Nippon Junior College has established the International Exchange & Foreign Student Support Office. The office provides a wide range of support from student life to choices after graduation for foreign students enrolled at Nishi-Nippon Junior College. Staff who speak English, Vietnamese and Chinese are always available.
Those who wish to enter the Japanese Language Course must provide the documents below. After applications are received, an entrance examination will be conducted, and on behalf of applicants who pass the examination, Nishi-Nippon Junior College will apply to the Fukuoka Regional Immigration Bureau for a Certificate of Eligibility for Resident Status.
